I do have leg pain that has not responded to any medication so I’m having an MRI in a couple of weeks to see if there’s any trapped nerves. Had that not been suggested for you?

I’ve had leg and ankle pain for 5 yrs. No one could figure out where it was coming from. I changed sports med doctor, and the new doc ordered another MRI from a different location. It made all the difference - My leg pains were coming from lower back, so now on PT, and soon to get an injection. It’s a process, and one that has taken way too all about finding the right doctor.

Had MRI’s with and without contrast, can’t find anything, had injections twice, didn’t help, but had pet scan which revealed 5 locations of abnormal cells

Poncelet, sounds like leg nerves are demyelinated, due to many years of a diet lacking B12. That vit makes nerve insulation. I take 250 micrograms daily because I am 83. Best form is METHYLCOBALAMIN.
Go for it.

@jamessaxo that’s what I’m using too, but combined with R-form Alpha Lipoic Acid.

Are you on statins for cholesterol? That can cause severe myalgia. Other medications can also. Mine hurt like the dickens just when trying to get up and down. My ferritin is low and wondered if that could affect muscles. Do you have any autoimmune diseases that might affect muscles? Is it only legs?

I too have leg and foot pain. I take Tramad/Acetamin 37.5 meds once a day. I also take B12 in liquid form, as well as multi B vitamin. I find that if I take 2 Magnesium Glycinate, at night before I go to bed it helps.
