@njfox Good Evening! Yes, I do use the strap (B-Pad) at the same time but the length of time is not equal. Also, these are the settings that my therapist "prescribed" for me. I think they are pretty much the standard ones. I've not wanted/needed to use the more complicated settings.
~ B-mat: A1 Intensity (Blue): Low 8 minutes (the "plus" for me is used only in
the morning)
~ B-pad or B-coil: Program: P-2 16 min. (the "plus" for me is used both in the
morning and evening)
So the B-Pad would be programmed (for me) the same no matter where it is used; the same with the coil.
There is a new piece available through your source specifically for the soles of the feet. I've used it at my P.T.'s office but have not made that purchase.

Thank you for putting up specifics on your Bemer therapy schedule. You are the only one I have found that actually gave specific therapy information. The new piece for soles of feet is encouraging since that is where my pain is the most intense on a daily basis.
I am still looking for a Wellness or PT facility close by to start the procedure before I decide whether to buy a Bemer device. I did confirm that Bemer Therapy is covered under my United Healthcare Medicare Advantage plan as long as I have a referral and get pre-authorization.
Anyone having additional information on outcomes using this therapy would be greatly appreciated. Particularly how many therapy sessions did it take to notice any change in pain reduction for Peripheral Neuropathy?

3 Reactions@jeaiken I'm going to Private Message you shortly. As an aside and to answer your question, I don't know how many sessions it took. I used my PT's old model in my home for probably 4 months on a mostly daily basis, and noticed that my P.N. may have slightly improved or at least not worsened, but when I gave it back to her, I noticed that I really, REALLY missed the sense of all-over well-being that I had developed during its use. That is, I believe, a key component in building one way to cope with P.N.'s awful symptoms is to enhance the body's ability to use the oxygen and nutrients it was made to utilize to enjoy your best bet at overall health. Will P.M. you soon.

1 ReactionFirst, thank you everyone, for your comments! I have been dealing with worsening idiopathic pneumonia since 2020, with docs only wanting to prescribe more pain medications with awful side effects. When I found this forum, it has been a huge help.
On the Bemer, it apparently is a PEMF device (google pemf) and one of many. I found this excellent web page comparing the Bemer to other such devices and have purchased a foot-sized mat for around $500 from Healthy Mat. Here’s the comparison page, with a TON of very detailed comparisons, and some good summaries for those of us who don’t want to dive into the granular side of things — https://healthmatreview.com/bemer-vs-pemf/
The mat should be to me within a week, and I will update my results here.
I am also in the midst of a series of shockwave therapy treatments, which are improving the pain levels. Check this forum for shockwave and I will update results there when I finish the series - hopefully by the end of April. I have really high hopes that the combination of these two will get me back to long walks and sleep.

1 ReactionCarolyn, thank you for posting your information. I recently had 2 sessions done on a BEMER machine and have decided to go ahead and purchase it for everyday home use for my PN, primarily for my feet and legs. Please continue to post your results from the Mat and Shockwave therapy. My PN has progressively gotten worse over the past 5 years (78 yr old male).
Thank you!
