@stephlb I was on Fulvestrant for 4 months, but was having severely achy legs late in the day & couldn't stand long to cook dinner. I wanted to reduce the drug to one shot, not two, but they said nope! it's not approved by the FDA. I think it was too strong for me, at 130 lbs. Then I broke out in a seeming rash all over both legs below the knees, but it was really Petachiae, a problem with broken capillaries in the skin. I quit taking it then, but 2 months later my ankles and feet started swelling. I've had to wear compression socks every day. I just had an ultrasound of my legs and one they say shows Vein Insufficiency in two spots. Am going tomorrow to talk to a Vascular Doc about what I need to do.
I am not happy that in treating breast cancer I have ended up with two other problems that really impact the quality of my life! So just keep an eye on your legs, and I hope it doesn't get worse like mine did. We should be able to reduce dosage if we want.

Yes, I was diagnosed breast cancer from a biopsy of a lesion in my hip
bone. So I never, as of 2 years... Had breast involvement.
