I started Evenity last month and I’m having extreme problems with fatigue that I never had before. I also am having G.I. problems. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, does it subside? I have used Reclast and Forteo with no problems. Thx

I started Evenity and had 4 months of the shots. Two weeks ago I woke up and could not stand on my feet. Both feet, ankles, knees and hands/wrists were swollen and extremely painful and stiff. I have RA and thought it was a severe flare, which I have never had before. I went to Urgent Care and was given prednisone. The pain got worse, I contacted my doctor, who upped the prednisone. Days have gone by, not feeling better. Two days ago, I finally got a video appointment with my rheumatologist. I told her that Evenity was the only change I had made. I was very active, worked out with weights, exercise bike, lots of walking, and yoga every day. She said she suspects that it is the reason for this. So no more Evenity, finished the prednisone yesterday and now just using prescription ibuprofen. Today was slightly better. I read that Evenity takes a couple months to leave your system, it’s been a month since my last shots, I am hoping this will continue to subside.

Never want to experience this again.

I have have 3 evinity injections and decided not to continue due to insomnia, fatigue back pain dizziness nausea and weakness in legs. I love to run and do yoga but have not been able to do so for several of months. I’ve had MRI of my back and EMG for leg weakness both normal and Blood work ruled out other things so now I plan to see a rheumatologist to see if I’m having an autoimmune response to evinity. It’s been 2 months since my last shot without improvement. Anyone with similar symptoms?

I just had my 7th injection and have had severe fatigue, particularly after this last one. I also routinely have severe back pain and general joint pain for about a week. I am toughing it out because I had a dreadful response to Actonel, a biphosphonate.
Wishing you well.

I am currently having extreme fatigue also after 7th injection. I have had a week of joint pain after each. I think thr fatigue will subside after the flu-like symptoms that I always get. I wake up and count remaining doses.
Wishing you well.

Just found this thread and yes, I’m experiencing extreme fatigue on evenity. I’ve had 3 treatments and will receive my 4th mid May. The tiredness started about a week after my 3rd and I now find it difficult to do much before needing to sit or lie down for a rest. I have always been very active so this has been really difficult for me. I’m hoping this passes as my treatments continue.
