Well, I alternate it with my estriol vaginal cream so.....
I use the hyaluronic 3 to 4 times a week. I am currently using the hyaluronic in a probiotic suppository, but I have a compounded hyaluronic suppository which when I use it,instead of the probiotic with hyaluronic, I cut into thirds or quarter. This is because the compounded hyaluronic seems stronger than the one in the probiotic suppository.
Determing dose:
I basically go by my reaction. You will notice a plumping effect, and your own body will tell you how much of that is good. My younger body could handle a greater dose of hyaluronic vaginally; my older body is still arguing with me, so I go currently with the "less is more' philosophy.
Women who are not using an estrogen vaginally frequently do more days a week of the hyaluronic or some alternate with a vit e suppository. At least this is what my friend, who is a patient at Soan Kettering, says the doctors there suggested that she do. (Hyaluronic suppository alternated with the vit e)
Brands....I have only noticed that the hyaluronic which I order on line is much more expensive than the one which my compounder makes up for me, plus, the on line brands have more additives. I have used the via and the Revaree brands in the past with no problems. I use the compounded version now. My compounder can just do the hyaluronic with the base, cheaper and less products with which to worry about having a reaction.
I only order the probiotic which has hyaluronic because I do not know if my compounder can compound a probiotic. I will have to ask him. 🙂
@kathleen1314 , thanks and why do I need a probiotic one?
Also, I’m a little concerned that staying so moist every day will cause yeast infection. With my estradiol, I don’t have dryness. So….do I need the hydraulic acid anyway? I’m all for prevention! Plus…plumping sounds good too! Lol.
