Newly Diagnosed with Esophageal Adenocarcinoma Stage 2-3

Posted by rdt @rdt, Nov 5, 2025

I'm reaching out to see if anyone has had success with alternative cancer treatments for this type of cancer? I've been in shock the last two weeks after hearing this diagnosis. I've been a pretty healthy person all my life so far. I'm 59 years old and had noticed a little trouble with swallowing over the last few months, but it was random until just this last month. I had seen my primary care doctor back in July to check on this. I started the process of going for testing in August, and just received the official diagnosis on October 15th. I'm very sensitive to western medicine and am hoping for an alternative solution for treatment. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciate. Thanks Todd

Hi Christina, I’m sorry to hear of your diagnosis. I, too, had adenocarcinoma, diagnosed 2 years ago and treated solely with immunotherapy. This was because I had mismatched dna markers that means I would respond well to that kind of treatment. Hat are the docs recommending for your treatment? I have been an acupuncturist for 35 years. I am familiar with alternative treatments and aI used them as complementary to Western medicine. Because this cancer is a “big one,” I used every resource available. From a Chinese medical perspective, with any cancer, it’s important to reduce stress loads on the body. That means cutting out sugar and reducing sweet foods and drinks,( orange juice for instance,) increasing vegetables and lowering stress level so your body can naturally work to heal itself. I included homeopathic remedies that are widely and effectively used in Europe.
I hope this is helpful information.
My very best to you.

@ajax2026 Hi again, I think you can see some of my journey in my posts but I was just reminded that another complication I had was that my voice changed. So I had infection, leak, strictures, and voice change. All of that before I got better. 🙂
