Which vitamins are good for kids with autism?

Vitamins, from a broad sense, are not a special concern for children with autism. That said, as the first response mentioned, what are your dietary concerns for your child? My kid is a very fussy eater and a vegetarian. For him, a basic multivitamin plus an iron supplement helps balance out his nutritional needs (you can't live on rice and pasta alone 🙂

However, if you kid eats red meat or vegetables containing iron, that is probably unnecessary. Do they drink milk or get calcium in other ways? If not, calcium supplements may be in order. Protein is a bid one too. You won't find that in vitamin pills and you may need to find another way to boost protein if your kid doesn't get enough in their diet.

In any case, it is all about your child and their diet.
