I was hospitalized 2025 for covid 19 an streptococcus pneumonia
I was hospitalized in 2025 for covid 19 streptococcus pneumonia and the flu. In the past 3-4 months my sinuses have been acting up an I have a bad cough. There have been times with catching my breath but i also have severe anxiety. My doctors mentioned something about a nodule on my left upper lung lobe. Now I have to be tested this week and I'm really nervous. I do smoke. Is there anything I need to be really worried about. I will add I stay busy and I breath fine oxygen level is really good and all blood tests have been good.

Covid wreaked havoc on my lungs five years ago. I worked with a pulmo team in Atlanta for recovery and they noted it can take your lungs a LONG time to fully recover (you may need to be patient). They gave me a CT scan and noted some “micro nodules”, yet also told me that over half the patients they see have nodules (most of which are not cancerous). I had stopped smoking 20-years prior.

1 ReactionFirst stop smoking. It isn't going to make things better and think of this scare as motivation. You are stronger than 3 inches (what I would guess is the length of a cigarette). Your lungs and finances will thank you. I had COVID with pneumonia and it cost me my lungs.
