Sweets and cancer
I've heard that cancer feeds off sweets. My oncologist says you can eat sweets. Does anyone else have any opinions?

It's all in a person's DNA and anyway no matter how healthy or unhealthy you are its God that determines our days on this earth.

1 ReactionI want to add to my comment about a person's DNA etc. I think we should do the best to take care of our body's if you know I mean although it's hard to do with all the food places putting good healthy food at the check out counter. I'm being funny. I hope I didn't offend anyone.

3 Reactions@asolidrock Costco is by far the best. The last time I was there, the clerk told me they only sell it seasonally, which is winter. I have enough bags to get me into the fall. The expiration dates are October. They also sell it on line, but the price is twice Costco’s for the same size bag. Of course, many will say you can’t put a price on our health. Good luck

Well yes - if your sugar is high you are diabetic ... And if you do not control your sugar you might loose your sight and limbs. Sometimes meds are absolutely necessary.

3 Reactions@surftohealth88 All true. And more important than high blood sugar (which might be a temporary thing) is the HbA1C test, which shows whether your *average* blood sugar over the past 2–3 months has been elevated.
A high reading is a very strong indicator for diabetes or pre-diabetes, something all of us on hormone therapy have to watch for (since ADT changes our metabolism and significantly increases the type-2 diabetes risk).
