frequent urination
I am 77 and need to get up about every two hours at night to pee. Then, standing over the toilet it won't just flow. I tap on my abdomen and that will initiate the flow. When I am up and about this is not really the problem. Any comments?

Go see your doc and have your prostate checked. These are the same signals I had, and then one day, I could not pee, and believe me, that's extremely painful. You'll wind up at the ER so they can catheterize and drain you. Trust me, you do NOT want to go through that (the pain, not the catheterization). The catheter, while not anyone's favorite thing, was a lifesaver. Your prostate is probably enlarged, and when it gets a little larger, it will choke off your urethra. Not going to the doc to check it out will NOT prevent it. Just make an appointment today and tell him you suspect BPH (Benign Prostate Hyperplasia). Look it up right here on the Mayo site below. (PS - I'm not a doc or associated with Mayo, I'm just a guy trying to help others with what I learned the hard way. See your doc today).

I have been there! Mine was can enlarged prostate. I suffered with it for years. Finely I took medications to shrink my prostate. The side effects listed” lack of sexual desire but I didn’t think too much about it. Six months later I had a tiny penis which didn’t get hard and having an orgasm was impossible! There are no easy answers!
