Has anyone had diagnosis/ treatment within the Cleveland Clinic? Exp?
Hello:
Recently diagnosed with high grade NI bladder cancer. Unfortunately, I am not feeling thus far completely positive that I am where I need to be with respect to care / treatment. I have read many of your respective experiences from various places, however none from the Cleveland Clinic System. Much appreciated.

Hi, I had my left kidney removed in 2024 at the Cleveland Clinic and couldn’t be happier with them. Had two small tumors removed from my bladder a year after. My last checkup I saw Dr Krishnamurthi and within an hour he scheduled a Cystoscopy for that day. Within a week he removed several tumors from my bladder and started me on BCG treatments this time. They are always on top of all my needs. Highly recommend.

1 Reaction@h2onsun That is very good news! Thank you. Did you / are you having routine signatera blood tests?
@michzn hi no, Cystoscopy after 6 mo revealed nothing. 2 small tumors removed @ 9 mo. Jan of this year complained of pain when urinating. Made appointment with Uro who did Cystoscopy same day found several high grade papillary urothelial cancer tumors. Scheduled TURBT week later said he got them all. Had my first BCG treatment last Friday 2weeks after procedure. Hope it works.

3 Reactions@h2onsun They are ( care team ) moving quick and that is everything imo . The CC situation is moving way too slow for me I have had to wait 6 weeks in between a bladder resection high grade NMI diagnosis and a TURBT. I finally have a TURBT tomorrow. Thank you and wish you strength and of course that the BCG works.
@michzn thank you for your response. I can’t say enough good things about Dr Krishnamurthi and his staff. He explains everything to me and a great surgeon at main campus in Cleveland. So far had 2 bcg treatments and very mild adverse reactions. I hope you all the best with your treatments. Always hope for the best and expect to win. Harry
@h2onsun Thank you, I must be with a team not as focused or dedicated as yours. So much so, they even did not have the chemo treatment available that was to be instilled after my TURBT. They said oops, we forgot to order it. It eventually came, but I was delayed while they waited for a delivery. You can’t make this stuff up if you tried.
@michzn anytime people are involved there’s bound to be mistakes but shouldn’t be in the medical field. Hope it all works out.
