PN and trembling/ hands shaking
Hi …I've had PN for 9 years. I’ve noticed as it progressed that I have trembling shaky hands and even arms a bit. I also seem to get nervous easier …with anxiety. Does anyone else experience this with their progressing PN? Have the DRS done anything for you? Txs

2 Reactions@stallen IVIG can be used for more than autoimmune. It’s hard to find a neurological administrator it. My rheumatologist is ordering it. Once on it it’s for life. You goof it comes back worse
My neuropathy has progressed quickly, about a year. My right foot is mostly numb, which I do physical therapy and supplements, etc... for and it helps. My tremors vary from the occasional extreme shakes where I can't eat with utensils or write legibly. To the constant "nerves" that affect my pool game noticeably. I love pool, it's extremely important to me.

Sorry to hear about your neuropathy Don. Were you given a cause? I’ve had mine for 9 yrs in April….no specific diagnosis although I am pre diabetes but my neurologist has never pinned it in that. My rate of progression seems to have ramped up. Best wishes to you in the struggle.

1 Reaction@stallen - I have idiopathic small fiber peripheral neuropathy and I also have been in the pre-diabetic category most of my adult life. What the doctors never mentioned to me was that if you are in the pre-diabetes category you also fit into the Metabolic Syndrome which includes diabetes and has a connection with neuropathy and other neurological conditions. Here's some references if you want to learn more about it.
