My diagnosis of DCIS was downgraded to ADH after lumpectomy

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has had a confirm diagnosis from a stereotactic breast biopsy DCIS and the diagnosis was downgrade to ADH from Lumpectomy. Aslo the biopsy clip not found during lumpectomy

Hello @l26. This has to feel disorienting, not knowing what is going on with my body always sends me spinning.
I remember reading once on a conversation here on connect about someone who had a biopsy of DCIS, and the lumpectomy didn’t find any more. This was reconfirmed by pathology and the determination was that it was very small and was completely removed by biopsy. In your case, missing clip seems like another matter.
Have you discussed these concerns with your doctor?
