Anyone have sweet odor/taste, dry nose after lung tumor removal?

Following removal of tumor, I could taste and smell something very sweet- also; my nasal passages are very dry. The taste issue is ephemeral; the dry nose is all the time. Does anyone have these issues?

Where was the tumor that was removed?

The odd scent and dry nose passages were probably caused by the cannula used during the surgery.

@flegmonde, this sounds like something that should resolve with time. If I understand, you are still dealing with odor and taste issue more than 3 months since surgery. Have you asked your surgeon about this? How is your appetite?

I discussed it with one of my surgeons-he had no concern about it My appetite is normal.
