Having low blood levels of vitamin C is associated with an increased risk post-herpetic neuralgia — the nerve pain that can persist after an outbreak of shingles. I subscribe to consumerlabs.com for all things vitamin. It''s worth it - to me . No B vitamins mentioned associated with shingles. Only vitamin C and not oral either, only shots. Google it - consumerlabs.com is a trustworthy independent resource for evaluating health, wellness, and nutrition products like supplements, known for its rigorous, unbiased testing, transparent methods, and commitment to not accepting fake claims. I only take supplements recommended and tested by doctors not vitamin companies.
