Red light therapy

Posted by jewles63 @jewles63, Dec 29, 2025

Hi, I’m 62 yr old female with multiple issues, Hasimotos, neuropathy and lung and heart issues. I joined a gym for the first time and they offer Beauty Angel red light therapy with my membership. I have been using it 12 minutes, 3 times a week like recommended. Has anyone tried and had luck with this.

May I ask why you’re using this therapy and what it’s suppose to do for you?

@lkirnbauer Red light therapy at ~650nm (red) and ~850nm (near-infrared) aids back surgery recovery by boosting cellular energy, reducing inflammation and pain, increasing blood flow for nutrient delivery, promoting collagen for tissue repair, and stimulating nerve regeneration, helping to heal damaged tissues, minimize scarring, and restore function after surgery. These specific wavelengths penetrate deep to activate mitochondria, fueling the body's natural repair processes for faster, better healing.

@scampano3 I’m having Green “Violet” Laser Light Therapy and a Red Laser Light Therapy. I’m doing this at my Chiropractor’s office and it’s not a bed, they direct the laser up my sinuses for 3 minutes, both sides of the vagus nerve for 3 minutes, my tongue ( I have Covid Tongue) 3 minutes green violet and 1 minute red light. I’m feeling something happen when it’s up my sinuses like an energy or something moving during the sinus therapy. We’ll see what happens. I should also tell you that I lost my taste and smell with Covid over 3 years ago. I had other symptoms that are easing up thankfully, but not having these 2 senses is pretty awful!
