SVT while traveling or out in public
For those who have SVT episodes and you happen to be driving in a vehicle or out in public and need a space to perform the Valsalva Maneuver, how do you manage that? Thanks in advance !!!

That is exactly my problem. I just lay down where ever or go home. But now i want to fly for 10 hours and i have no idea how to solve that problem of lying down in a full plane.
Based on your experience, has the Valsalva Maneuver been successful most of the time?
I find it easy to perform valsalva while driving or out in public. Don’t panic. I am able to stop an SVT episode with one valsalva maneuver.

3 ReactionsI posted this on a different thread, but there is a very recently FDA approved nasal spray that is used to stop SVT episodes called Etripamil (Cardamyst). I myself am interested in having this with me on a trip, in case I couldn’t abort an episode while in flight. I think this would give me some piece of mind.
