I have had vaginal Lichen Sclerosus for many years with several flareups. I am interested in learning of any successful treatments or recommendations.

I am just recently diagnosed with LS. Diagnosed by my dermatologist. She put me on clobetesol. That cleared up the inflammation & itchiness. Thank god! But I have a sore that clobetesol did not help.
Has anyone had the same experience or used something different ??

@andwho
I have had good success with Pur (brand) Ozone-Infused Coconut Oil. Might be worth a try, I was surprised how much it helped me.

@queenie2030
Thank you!
Did you suffer with sores that didn’t heal with clobetesol?

REPLY

I have bumps not really sore. They reduced in size somewhat since I started Clobetesol six months ago.

Does it take that long on clobetasol to get LS under control? I’ve been using it since Thanksgiving 2x a day. Not long enough???

I use Lisepten, an all natural herbal salve. It's been working wonders for me for many years. You can order directly from the company.

Are you using clobetesol also? I’ve been using clobetesol since Thanksgiving. It’s helped the inflammation & itchiness but not a sore that burns whenever I urinate. What to do???? Anything else I can try???

@andwho The only thing I use, or need, is Lisepten. It works that well for me. I also have a very healthy diet which I'll bet also helps.

So you are not using clobetesol?
Did you ever use it? Did it not help you??

@andwho I personally never used it. I didn't like the side effects. Each person does need to consider their own situation and make a decision based on their own severity, etc.
