Hi Cookie,
I'm sorry you are having these eye problems. I'm 79 and have Retinitis Pigmentosa and have since 2010. What I did was eat a lot of foods with luteinne in them such as carrots, yellow bell peppers, spinach etc. It helped immensely! My Retinitis Pigmentosa didn't progress. It got better. Now they are saying I have a mild case. I have no blindness which Retinitis Pigmentosa causes. I'm seeing just fine.

Do a lot of research on the foods that contain the things you wanted to buy in supplements. That way you don't have to worry about the side effects of pills.

Also prayer helps. I prayed a lot when I was first diagnosed. God is always there for us. He made you and he can fix you! I'll say a prayer for you too.
I wish you the best.

Hi PML,
Thank you so much for your reply. You are certainly an inspiration!I have been eating the Mediterranean diet...foods high in lutein and zeaxanthin. Without God I could not have gotten through any of life's struggles. He is my strength and hope! And yes, prayers are always comforting as I know He hears everyone of them. So we do the best we can and trust and believe in His plans.
Blessings to you always.

Hi pml!
I was diagnosed after age 60! I too believe in prayer, and would ask that you pray for me as well! It’s truly I blessing to hear there are things I can try to IMPROVE my loss of some of my vision! It’s a really scary thing isn’t it! I will most definitely try the things you’ve had results with! 🙏💞
