skin is extremely sensitive to touch. it. started after Covid
My skin is extremely sensitive to touch. I’m miserable. Gabapentin prescribed Doesn’t seem to be working. My hands and arms are the worst. Legs and feet hurt but not as bad. Best way to describe it is when you were a kid and fell and scraped your skin on the concrete . This all started after my 2nd time getting Covid. Not sure if this is from Covid. I’ve seen a dermatologist, neurologist, and a rheumatologist. No answers. I’m so tired of the pain, it’s causing me to lose sleep because of the pain. I’ve put up with this for over a year now. Was grasping at straws to see if anyone else has these symptoms. 😢

How do I find a long COVID doctor or try to apply to Stanford?
@vostie
I take low dose naltrexone and it has helped but not completely! I am thankful you are feeling better😃
@itsmeagain I believe you are right about the Covid shots. I had two shots in January 2021 three weeks apart. I was working in the hospital and we were gonna take Covid patients. Fast forward to the first week in March I retired. Two days later I woke up and noticed I had pinpricks going off from head to toes and in my eyes 24/7. The medical term is paresthesia. I firmly believe it was the shots. It took me 3 months to see a neurologist and I asked a question. how many of your patients have woke up and had full onset of pinpricks head to toes and in their eyes. He said none it is rare. After a skin biopsy I was told I had small nerve fiber neuropathy idiopathic no known cause and non length dependent. I do not have anyone in my family who has ever had anything neurological issues. I take alpha lipoic acid and it helped. I get pin pricks occasionally but not like I did at first. Very weird. @rnlorena
