@medtech4 I too am surprised that a nurse practitioner did the biopsy. I saw a pulmonary specialist first and he placed the dye in the area of the tumor so the doctor could do the actual biopsy. Hope you get other opinions.

@nannybb I am not making myself clear. The nurse practioner did NOT do the biospy. The interventional pulmonologist did the biopsy. The NP spoke with me before this 2nd procedure on a video chat and I will chat with her again this week. The doctor ( the interventional pulmonologist who did the procedure) also said he'll be in the office when I speak with her so she can call him in if I have more questions.
