I had Rev Total Shoulder Replacement done 7 months ago....there was no actual pain... had nerve block that lasted three days....was on a regime of Tylenol and Naprosyn alt every 4 hours around clock for two weeks and ice therapy...no pain...
Now enjoying full motion...still doing weight strengthening...great results... good luck!!!

Thank you for your response. It's so encouraging that you didn't have much pain. Glad you now have full motion and great results. Hope that is my case. I need to ask about the nerve block. Someone else mentioned the nerve block, too. That probably helps the first couple of days after surgery. Thanks again.
