@rlf66 hi, after I didn’t die and the hole grew back in (scar tissue) they put me on an immunotherapy drug called Optivo and it doesn’t work on everyone when it does work it works everywhere- on that til 2018 and went into remission. Had bladder cancer twice and being treated by oral chemotherapy for stage 4 prostate cancer. It’s truly a gift that keeps on giving. Me, I hold my head up, try not to think too much about it and live in the moment- stay positive and live while you’re alive and enjoy your holidays. Did I mention I’m kinda hard to kill? I fight back. I will ask the creator of all things to help you and remember health care industry comes up with new stuff all the time so why not for you too? Get better & be better

@rlf66
I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic non-small cell lung cancer in June 2024. I’ve been receiving treatment every three weeks with carboplatin, Alimta and Keytruda, as well as Zometa to strengthen my bones, since the cancer had spread to the bones.
We dropped the carboplatin and sometimes I have to skip the Alimta because if kidney issues and of anemia. I’m one of the lucky ones with very few negative side effects.
We’ve dropped the Zometa too as I developed osteo-necrosis of the jaw bone… which is potentially horrific, but I’m not going into details here. I’m hoping it clears up with the prescription mouthwash I have. We caught it early, so fingers crossed. So far I’ve been mostly grateful that the side effects are minor and the drugs seem
to be working for now.
