Brinsupri & Neuropathy

I’ve have swollen ankles for 2 days which I’ve never had before. Supposedly it could have been a reaction to doubling my BP med to counteract the increased hypertension due to a known side effect of Brinsupri It has subsided and my blood pressure has finally stabilized so I’m feeling positive.

@sharonednaramsey how long have you been on brinsupri and on what dose. I wrote before- I am on it twomonths, BP increased but from my regular 110 to 127-130. So I am watching.

I have been on 25 mg for two months now. My BP raised from my normal 120/80 but usually lower with a low dose Bap med. After 5 weeks on the Brinsupri it shot up to the 140s over 90s. My PCP increased my BP med. It seems to have stabilized now after 2 weeks and gone back down to my normal.

I’ve been on Brinsupri for eight months – a 25 mg pill once daily. I have numbness in right foot my toes have experienced mild swelling and numbness for about three months now. This week, the heel in my right foot is swollen and turning black and I’m also having numbness in the heel as well.

Are you diabetic and do you have any vascular problems? Keep us posted should it be related to Brinsupri. I hope you get to the bottom of this quickly.
