The practice I use is 2 brothers, both eye surgeons. One of them just does cataract operations 2 days a week, all day. When I booked my appointment they were 5 months out. From what I can tell they are the hotshot guys for this. Thanks for the comment.

I had a CRVO in my left eye which destroyed much vision in that eye. Was panicked about losing the sight in my right eye from the cataract or the surgery. Picked an eye surgeon who only does cataract surgery by laser-assisted cataract removal although I had to pay out of pocket extra money. (I had heard that’s it’s easier on the eye.) The surgery was successful (Thank God), but what I most remember was the surgeon ‘s honesty in the conversation about removing the cataract in my bad eye. “M—- I can’t make it good, but I can make it better.”
So I went ahead and had the other eye done, and yes, the eye isn’t good, but it’s definitely better than it was with the cataract. Best wishes going forward
