6 ReactionsHappy Thanksgiving to all of the wonderful people in this group. I am honored to share time with each of you.
On this day, my mantra will be "Life is good, live in the present and find some joy, however small, in each day."
Today I will share my Thanksgiving with about 40 friends and neighbors in our small Texas community, thankful that the weeks long heat wave has broken, and we are enjoying 70 degree sunshine, listening to the birds as I cook my side dishes. Later we will video visit with our daughters, son-in-law and grandsons. Tomorrow I will host a small "day after" party with 4 dear friends, playing games and sharing leftovers.
