@ellesea01 My name came about from being a professional nanny for 25 + years . First it was Nana, then Nanny B. One day, two of my children (twins) asked what my maiden name was. It begins with a B as well. So they started calling me Nanny BB, and it stuck. The "children" are now in college. Whew.
I have carcinoid tumors. I was operated on, and then told I have more in both lungs post-op. It is the pain from the operation that I am dealing with now. Going for the second opinion has me thankful and a bit anxious at the same time. Being able to reach out in this forum let's me know you are correct. I am not really alone. You are a sweetheart. Many people in here are, as well.

What a fun story that is. There often is, partly why I asked. I had thought might be an actual nanny and/or actual name is Nan. Kids are such Brite lites.
Gotta luv em. I am not very familiar with the condition you mentioned other than it would be daunting. Hope the surgery pain ends soon. Be interesting what you find out re next steps. We're here & people care. You are absolutely correct, We're not alone. With ya in spirit for sure & here
