I mave MAC and Bronch and having hernia op tomorrow, any advise?

Hi I have MAC intracellulare and am having an Ingual Hernia operation tomorrow, just wondering is anyone else with MAC has had a hernia op and how it went, any advise much appreciated.

I'm assuming your surgeon and anesthesiologist are already aware of your condition.

When I was first diagnosed with BE and MAC my doctor said that if I ever needed surgery I would require sufficient post-operative pain medication in order to cough comfortably and thoroughly.
