All pain gone after one "test"

Woke up for the first time in years WITHOUT PAIN
My friend has always told me, "If you wake up one day without pain, you know you for sure you're dead!"
Fortunately it was not true.

I have suffered from Chronic pain in my lower back for the last 6 years which started after I was diagnosed with Lyme disease. Initially, Steroid injections in the back helped.
After a few years, the injections eventually stopped working after a few months.
Then I was treated with RFA (Radio Frequency Ablation of the Medial Nerve)First with a hot needle (90 deg C) in 2 locations which lasted for 2 months.
Secondly with a cold needle (60 deg C) in 8 locations. But now the pain changed to a burning sensation "in a wide belt" inside my lower back for 4 months.
After that I have been in pain constantly with varying intensity plus feeling inflammation in all parts of my body.
Therefore I have been "treating" myself using finely ground Turmeric, Cinnamon, Ginger, Vanilla, black pepper and honey as a thick slurry. Taken as a tablespoon every evening before bedtime as it is supposed to be good against inflammation. I have felt some relief but nothing significant.

NOW
As a Chemical Engineer I started looking at the nature of inflammation and compared it to the active ingredients in my cocktail. And it turned out that it should work.

HOWEVER
Without getting too technical, the inflamed areas were in zones of a fatty nature which are hydrophobic (repels water - like water droplets on a goose)
At the same time, the active ingredients in my cocktail (except for honey) are also hydrophobic.
SO the cocktail had little effect because they were not properly dissolved and released as the stomach fluids are the opposite of hydrophobic = hydrophilic.
In other words the active ingredients went down the toilet.

Alcohol
It turned out that the active ingredients in my cocktail powders would easily dissolve in Alcohol.

So to make a long story short
I dissolved one teaspoon of each spice (but only a 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper) with a table spoon of honey in a double shot of Rum.
Stirred it for some minutes and enjoyed it.
The next morning; I WAS PAIN FREE!
I was laying in bed looking up at the ceiling enjoying every minute of it.
After going for a swim in the afternoon, I began to feel slight pain or rather tension but only 10% of usual.

The day after (at the time of this writing) I have only minimum pain, or rather a tension in my back.
I realize my test only represents one datapoint, but it is a good start with an unbelievable outcome.

MY NEXT APPROACH
I have already made a bottle of slurry (same ingredients) but using only enough alcohol to make it flow like a thick slurry for the purpose of limiting the alcohol intake.
I plan to take one tablespoon of slurry in the evening before bedtime.

DISCLOSURE
I am 6 feet, 216 lbs. and enjoyed not only one but 3 cocktails that evening. So the medical term could suggest I was under anesthesia when I went to bed (in leigh man terms: DRUNK)
I am not suggesting anyone do as I have done, and also check the side effects of the spices in the cocktail.

One teaspoon each, but only 1/8 of black pepper (also finely ground)

The black pepper amplifies the effect of the Tumaric by 2000%

DON'T LEAVE IT OUT

@mrmik were you on any meds when you took your first “shot” of your concoction?

Whiskey used to be used as medicine. Grandpa used it for respiratory illnesses. Dad said he got a jigger of whiskey every night on his dinner tray in the Army hospital where he was recovering from brain surgery in 1944.

@bunstuffer my teetotaling church-lady Mother (like me) had a bottle of Jack Daniel’s put away. When our menstrual cramps were particularly bad, she would give us a dose (I don’t remember how). This was in the 1970’s. I think she learned it from her Mother.

Glad you posted this & wow re you're now pain-free.!!
I have been in pain (many tests, no diagnosis) for 4.5 years.
Tried similar procedures as you've mentioned but no relief.
Luv ❤️ Herbs & grow some of my faves, so I'm keen to give your 'recipi' a go.
Appreciate that your chemical engineering background informed the 'fine tuning' to add the alcohol 🍸 to dissolve the active ingredients letting your herbs + alcohol do the trick.!!

Congrats on creating a treatment that got you pain-free. That is so wonderful. Way to be you. I am really looking forward to duplicating your results. Thank you..

@ellesea01
Careful with the alcohol if you are not used to it or don't know how it affects you.

On the other hand, many constant pain suffers may be used to it as way to get temporary releaf.

Thanks & I'm familiar with taking care that way. Were you taking any meds during your tests? @mrmik

Ok, thx. That apparently didn't mess with your tests. Yaye...@mrmik

I made the slurry with all the ingredients and alcohol. My observations:
1. The slurry has to be one of the worst tasting concoctions I have ever tasted. Horrible, disgusting.
2. Did nothing for my pain. Apparently it does not touch severe nerve pain, unless you have to get totally inebriated for it to work.
3. I am on 600 mg of Gabapentin, 3x daily. Gabapentin and alcohol are highly toxic together, even deadly in some cases.
Perhaps it will provide some relief for others. I sincerely hope so.

Ok thx for the info here. So 1800mg of gab a day seems a lot. Is it so many mg per pound ? But is this before your 'creation'?

Certainly can't do both right? Now I'm confused a bit. I'm jumbling something around. Yikes...?

What a fantastic outcome! Congratulations! I’ve been struggling with chronic pain in my thoracic and lumbar spine and hips for about seven years. Nonstop, relentless pain that even after steroid injections, RFAs, epidurals, and very strong prescription pain medications I’ve ended up at the ER more times than I can remember. I’m legally disabled, depressed, home bound, and in tears most days because of the excruciating pain and the loss of having an actual life. Simply put: devastating. I have tried adding turmeric, circumin, black pepper, moringa extract, cinnamon, ginger, etc… to my morning meds every day but nothing has helped with all my inflammation. I can’t take NSAIDS because I’m prone to gastric ulcers. After reading your post, I realized I had never considered how my body absorbs the supplements. I hadn’t considered the hydrophobic/ hydrophilic properties. I’m going to try your method and see what happens. At this point, I honestly feel as though I have nothing to lose but everything to gain if it helps! So… thank you for your post. I’ll let you know what happens.

@kaki068 what is your recipe? I missed it. Please write it out.
