I am being referred to a Infectious Disease Dr now and am so stressed I lost my voice and have been having chest wall pain since these two scopes on the 12th?Please advise me on how this should be going, given they took lymph node out in sections to biopsy.

@pattymac, I have been out of contact with you and I am happy to hear the 'no cancer' message! I am not familiar with the lung situations, but I am going to guess that the repeat fungus test is for the purpose of running some more sophisticated tests to define a cause and thus a diagnosis.
I have a question for you. Is there someone who is overseeing or coordinating all of these procedures? If so, that person ought to be able to walk you thru some of your questions.
I pray that on 12th you get more good news.
Rosemary

Pattymac....adding to Rosemary's excellent words....I am wondering what "chest wall pain" means. Are you at risk of anything cardiac? Tdrell

@pattymac I'm also glad to hear that there is no cancer evident in the tests you have had. Please check with the doctor who performed the procedure to see if the voice problem is a typical reaction to the procedure. Take heart and stay strong. Teresa

No at least I don't think so.I just did an at home sleep study and received a call from a medical supply company telling me my Dr ordered a cpap for me? I'm not sure how accurate that test was considering I cough a lot at night?

@pattymac That is interesting. I've never heard of a home sleep study. Could you give a brief description of that? Teresa

Sure Teresa, I was sent a test kit at home.So I just had to read and put it on and sleep. It had a finger strip, one that went around under my breast and the most annoying was one that was taped under my nose.I then had to plug it in when I woke up and it transmitted to the company it came from.Funny thing was I coughed half the night away so I don't understand how it was accurate at all? Then a couple days later I received a voicemail stating I was to receive a C-Pap machine?I was not happy because I didn't get a call from the Dr about the findings at all! Still haven't received anything either so I'm OK with that.

@pattymac I can understand your wanting to discuss this with your doctor. Have you called him about it? If not, that might be a good idea. Teresa
