35 yr female with parasites from cruise in Jan

35 year old female. Picked up parasites in January on a cruise that had fresh water swimming in tropics Caribbean. No one in grand junction area can effectively treat them and they are still present after a couple anti parasitic treatments. Is Mayo the place to go?

I hope you found help by now and am so so sorry you are going through this. I happened to see your post today and will definitely alert and my friends who are going on their first Cruise over the Holidays, including Cayman, Jamaica, Castaway Cay and Cozumel.

Thank you so much for posting, it's helpful for anyone who is traveling on cruises to be aware of. If you find help, would you mind posting an update on this thread? ? I am originally from FL and would appreciate knowing who I could recommend if any friends/family are ever in the same situation. I hope and pray you have found help and effective treatment.
