Neuropathy in feet helped with support stockings
This is just a little discovery I made, maybe it will be helpful to somebody. I'm 83, in constant severe back pain, have had 4 surgeries and need 2 more but can't have them because of deteriorated bones. Neuropathy in my feet is just another painful nuisance. So I noticed my ankles swelling even though I pretty much sit in a recliner with my legs elevated all day. I put on my support stockings (with open toes) and noticed after several hours that my feet barely hurt! It's been 2 days and still very minimal burning and tingling. I hope this works for others!

1 ReactionI make up my own concoction. It is composed of a cup of dimethyl sulfoxide in aloe vera form; 1 cup or half a cup of Cerav good cream, and a bottle of foot pain that is purchased at Walmart or CVS in the USA. I'm from Canada so I bought it over there. I mixed the 3 together and add a little bit of zostrix experts contains capsacian, so be careful how much you put in because it does cause a little bit of burning and discomfort if there is too much. You mix the hell out of the 3 of them and put them on your feet and legs and initially they feel a little uncomfortable for a few minutes but after that relief sets in. It works for me that's all I can say, my own homemade remedy
@rrenaut god luck.
@charliegirl it did for me. My caloric intake never changed before, during, or after the medication. And then the rapid weight loss. Maybe in my case it wasn't the drugs, since it was a couple of years before the weight did melt off. It wasn't my thyroid though, the function was normal during that time. Oh well. Glad it's done.

T need what you need!
Can you let me know if you received a reply to open toe compression stockings? I bought pricey knee highs that are way too big in the foot, so I gave them away. I still need compression knee high size 61/2 to 7ish. Hope yours are working well for you! Thanks!
@fala It appears I have not received a reply.
I did order Doc Miller open toe compression socks knee high. I should get them on Tuesday. I suggest you check this out. There are many options. Good luck.
I like the battery ooperated pressure cuffs. I can walk in them. The feel good and the edema in my legs has not come back. Mine were given to me in the hospital when I had a lumpectomy to preven blood clots , but they are also sold on Amazon.
I have found that Vicks Vapor rub works the best for me. put it on heavy and rub in and feet feel better. the next day it gets even better.
