@hello1234 Just curious- who told you that a systolic of 85 was too high for a 65 year old transplant patient? Was it a nephrologist?

My nephrologist would like to see 80 or below on my diastolic (bottom number). It's been creeping up. When it reached 90, I added Amlodipine to my meds.
My systolic number (top
number) is beautiful at 119. He loves that number.
The nurse told me that it's not unusual to see young people with a high top number and older people with a pressure on the bottom number, like I have. How is your blood pressure doing?
