Hi @rachel5239
I am happy to hear your appointment went pretty well. It seems every appointment involves two or three biopsies for me too. Tell me about your high blood pressure. How high? You sound like me. When I was younger and before my transplant and immune suppression meds, my blood pressure was always on the low side. Lately, my pressure is high. I think some of my high blood pressure is from gaining about 10 pounds of necessary weight, too much stress, and not enough exercise. I need to commit to making a few changes in my diet, exercise and stress management. Are you having the same issues or do you think you will need a BP medication to bring it down? I guess it depends how high your pressure is getting?

@hello1234 my blood pressure has always been around 110 over low 70s. This just changed a few months ago. Yes they want me to start a low dose of blood pressure medicine. Just wondering, how far out from transplant are you? I turned 74 yesterday so my age probably has something to do with it. Are you the one that is 35 years post transplant? When I had mine I had 2 sons, one was 12 and the other one was 8. My only prayer was to live long enough so they could graduate from high school and start their own lives. Now they are both grandfathers. I am so thankful that I was given all the time I have had so far. I have been truly blessed. Blessings to you also.
