Triple vessel disease
I am an 81 year-old female and have been diagnosed in September with triple valve disease, and angioplasty was attempted and they had to stop the procedure because they felt it was too risky. It’s been decided that I should take heart medicine for three months and then return to the doctor. I take a cholesterol pill blood pressure pill heart, and stroke prevention pill and low-dose aspirin. I am really not even sure what’s happening. I’m living in Switzerland and there’s a language barrier problem but the doctors do speak some English. They tell me that this has occurred over overtime and I’m not sure what to worry about. I still feel the same however, in winter, I do get some shortness of breath. Period. when people hear what the diagnosis is, their face goes white I would like to know if I can just continue to live taking heart medicine and not have to worry about having to have some massive surgery to correct the problem of these three clogged arteries that I have any suggestions?
