@prc73
I am sure my breast cancer is also stress related.

I highly recommend following the "Eat Right 4 Your Blood Type" diet by Peter D'Adamo. While this diet will NOT cure cancer, it will allow you to live your life at its most optimal level while battling this disease. Many "other" diseases (allergies; asthma; aging; arthritis; diabetes; fatigue; and menopause, just to name a few) can be overcome by following this diet. Keep in mind, you must follow the foods that are beneficial for your blood type (and not what others say are "good" or "bad" for you) in order to see positive results. The first 50 pages of this book, outline the "science" behind why it works, but it basically boils down to only consuming the lectins found in foods that MATCH the same ones found in your blood type. Ex., a banana has beneficial lectins for Blood Type "O", but NOT Blood Type "A."
This diet is not for those who wish to take the "easy" route to a healthier life, as it requires planning meals precisely tailored to your blood type, but I can attest after following it judiously for the last 10 years, I put my severe Ulcerative Colitis into remission and have been OFF ALL drugs and immunosuppressants since I started. I have more energy now than when I was in my 20's (I am 64) and believe many people can minimize their own ailments by feeding their bodies the correct lectins.
One other note, the majority of doctors WILL NOT condone or agree to this type of diet stating that NO PROOF has been shown it works. While no trials have been done (lack of funding and in my opinion, drug companies' fear of losing money), the science behind this way of eating answers all the questions I had and turned me into a faithful follower. It costs absolutely nothing but the price of the book to begin and, of course, your determined desire to be the healthiest you can be. Good luck to all!

We are all going crazy. Use common sense. Eating and drinking sensibly is the key.

@prc73 Are your doctors saying one or two drinks a week are okay? Mine started out like that but now they're saying no drinking at all. (and most of the articles are now saying that too.) I hardly ever drank...mostly when we were out for dinner. But now I've sworn it off. I wish they would make up their minds! And they probably don't know for sure. This is so new.

@marshgirl24 let me find the article and I'll post it here . That will shed some insight. I think too much consumption is an issue but the occasional glass is fine I last had a glass in March and I kinda miss it sometimes but I have grown to love hot tea.

@marshgirl24
I can imagine adjusting to modified or new nutrition plans is challenging.

My Dietician advised against alcohol.

Best,

Susan

Eat to beat the Disease William Li Excellent Book fighting cancer
Look at Chris Beat Cancer Diet- lots of praises
Eat organic God given foods. No processed, cut sugar tremendously.
Lots of purified, alkaline, or Berkey Water or boil water, cool and put into jars to avoid the plastic.
EMushrooms, and mushroom pills. They offset estrogen.
If youre not positive for progesterone causing your BC look into using Yam Cream or LifeFlo progesterone cream. It naturally offsets estrogen and helps with osteopenia/ osteoporosis
(Research Dr. John Lee)
I had trouble with the aromatase inhibitors. They were crippling me as well as my friends. Im on Exemestane. No issues, pains etc.
We are dealing with chemistry. One size doesnt fit all. Keep trying.
Blessings!

Good morning!
Thank you for your blog. I love the information that you provided. I do listen to Dr. Li and follow most of his advice. I will research the other information you provided since I am definitely open to learning more about how to treat BC without conventional methods. Please keep me informed as you learn more.

Good morning,
I have been searching for a surgeon who performs cryoablation to freeze my BC cells. I am not finding anyone in my area who does it. If anyone knows about this or has any information, I welcome it. I have chosen not to have surgery and am finding little help out there. Thanks.
