Your legs and fibromyalgia
I have had fibromyalgia for 25+ years. I did take a bad fall last year only hurting head and shoulder. Ever since then I’ve had very painful legs. This week they are so sore, almost unable to walk. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

After 26 years, I don’t take any of meds talked about. I tried almost all and didn’t feel any better, sometimes worse. I take a 1/2 Norco when I can’t handle the pain or want to go somewhere. I have to really want to go and take the Norco VERY sparingly.

1 ReactionThe last 7 years, my left leg only has felt like its ice cold, but it's not . I have extreme thigh pain, between toes feel like the are wet but are not. I've had MRI of back, ultrasound of leg arteries and nerve conduction test
Drs insist it's fibro. I've never had one sided fibro
@I know this may not help everyone, but I discovered years ago that my lifelong aching legs were due to too little potassium. I now have a prescription for potassium that I take 3 x day and it has helped that problem. At the age of 82, I now have a Baker's Cyst in the back of my left knee (which also needs to be replaced) and have to use a cane for walking. Molly K

1 Reaction@mollyquilter WHAT IS A BAKERS CYST?
@pollyperf
I absolutely agree with not taking all of the the suggested meds! They did not make me feel better either. Sad.
Welcome @pamgalli, a Baker's cyst is a fluid-filled growth behind the knee - https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/bakers-cyst/symptoms-causes/syc-20369950.
Do you have fibromyalgia? Are you trying to find some specific information?
Yes, my legs hurt all the time.
I’ve been to many specialist and finally got a doctor that believes me.
But, I had to go years without any medical support.
Finally, a doctor told me that this is also the results of long term fibromyalgia.
