How about a laugh, (hopefully)

Posted by Jake @jakedduck1, Dec 31, 2018

I believe laughter is the best medicine. Laughter has actually been scientifically proven to help people with depression issues.
Let’s give it a try so we can all get happy and feel better. Many Epilepsy forums I’ve been on had joke sections. I was probably the biggest joke of all since I didn’t get a lot of the jokes. They said the jokes couldn’t be above 4th grade level for me to understand them so my jokes may be rather simplistic but let’s give it a try.
Have a lovely day everyone,
Jake

Stop leaving your children with their grandparents to babysit. I asked my nephew how old he was going to be and he said “If the Lord sees fit, 9 in November.”

I'm having people over to stare at their phones later, if you want to come by!

A friend of mine called me from the county jail. I asked him what happened.

He said, "Well, you know, I've been working two jobs to support my family, and I got arrested."

"What!" I replied. "How could you get arrested for that? What two jobs were you working?"

He hesitated and said, "Well ... breaking and entering."

90% of the things I worry about never happen. Worrying works!

Well, hopefully this helps also - I have had a long time history of SAD, decades for sure.
I also have a phobia of bears, just do, not because of any personal experience.
Right now I feel akin to a bear as I do each fall - I begin carb loading as soon as the days get shorter. I hate it but it feels like it’s beyond my control. I’m not normally overweight but can easily pack on 10# or more. Came out of grocery 3 days ago with Little Debbie brownies, cheese popcorn, 2 pints of ice cream and a Pepperidge Farm cake! 😮 Popcorn is gone, brownies almost gone, ice cream is gone and the cake has about 1-2 servings left.
Does anyone else do this? Help!

@wisco50 Yes, I can relate. It's a grisly situation.
In fact, I've been putting on weight in preparation for winter ... for the past fifty years.
On the bright side, if this coming winter lasts a whole year, I'll be fine.
Even two years.
