Thanks for your post. Its wonderful you've finally found this doctor to help with the EBV. I haven't been able to find any doctor to address it. Would you share their specialty,
name and location? Assuming this is functional medicine out of network?

@coloradom I started about 9 months ago with SIEM LLC (Southern Integrative and Environmental Medical) in Austin, TX. They are also in Atlanta, GA, and has been very successful in treating me remotely. I see Dr, Kimberly Williford. I've only had one in office visit. Unfortunately, It is a functional medical practice that is out of network and out of pocket. I had avoided it because of the expense until I ended up with endometrial cancer, but decided as my husband said, "What good is a retirement account if you are not here to enjoy it?" My PA in my General Practice of Victory Medical, has also been very helpful. If you are in Austin, TX, I would highly recommend Patricia Rodriguez with Victory Medical. She has been very good at thinking outside of the box in subscribing meds that I believe has helped me such as LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone), Ivermectin, Valtrex, all of which are helpful in fighting viruses and increasing energy levels. Unfortunately, my meds are cheaper purchased using discount locations SAM's Club Pharmacy or Gold RX. My insurance on Medicare is useless covering these drugs and won't even fill off label drugs, as if they are the Dr. prescribing and knows what works! But even with the meds I don't think I would have seen this change until I changed the way I was eating and started on Dr. Williford's protocol, of high-quality supplements. Her direction really helped a lot. It took time, but has been worth it, as I had been supplementing for years trying to figure this out, with little luck and feeling like I was on a roller coaster ride as far are my health was concerned.
I wish you the best, in your search. I don't know where you live, but I do hope you can find a good functional Dr. to help you. I am located near Austin, TX and I do realize how difficult it is if you are not in an area where you have the resources. There are some resources online now which was not there 40 years ago when this started with me so that is a plus. My best to you all suffering with this beast.

God Bless,
Kathy
