I have Shokz Open Run Pro 2, because 2 months ago I suddenly lost hearing in my left ear. I was using Apple AirPods Pro2. I was hoping I'd be able to hear something in the left ear, but NO!!! I like them because I don't have something in the good ear to block noise. I like to bike ride and it is important to be able to listen to the sounds around you. Actually, today I pick up a set of CROS hearing aids. "News at 11" on how well they work for me.
A week ago I returned the Resound Vivia 9 CROS hearing aids. When 1st talking with the audiologist, I said that I like this idea, knowing that when I go bike riding, I'll be able to hear sounds from the left side. After some trial and error, I found out that the Resound CROS HA's when streaming the CROS transmitter shuts off. That doesn't do me any good. I did more research and found that the Oticon CROS HA's have dual streaming. So I can be listening to tunes and be able to hear sounds from the left side. I'll have them in about a week. If these don't work, I do have a consultation with a Cochlear specialist in 4 weeks.

It’s definitely true for me. It’s unsettling but I’m learning to adapt.
