CanPrev, a Canadian company based in Toronto, offers Collagen Bone which contains Fortibone. They have 1k (for skin), 3k (for joints/ligaments) and 5k DA (for bones). I bought the 5k DA from Healthy Planet store. They may be available in other health stores in Canada too. They’re available online too but the frequent postal strikes make this option more difficult.
Hopefully I can get Amazon.de shipped to Canada
Our postal strike probably will last to infinity.
DHL has international delivery -
when I checked further, it says
parcels are often handed over to Canada Post for delivery
within Canada.
Will check UPS and FedEx.
Amazon.de to Amazon.ca transfer and delivery?

@bevlevvancouverbc This is copied and pasted from my search that came up on AI when I asked about type 1 collagen in Enhanced Organika. There is no link:
Yes, Organika's "Enhanced Collagen Original" contains mostly type 1 collagen because it is derived from bovine sources, which are rich in type 1 and type 3 collagen. Type 1 collagen is the most abundant form, making up a significant portion of your skin, bones, tendons, and other connective tissues.
Here's why it contains mostly type 1:
Bovine Source: The Enhanced Collagen Original is sourced from grass-fed cows, which naturally contain type 1 and type 3 collagen.
Abundance in the Body: Type 1 collagen is the most prevalent type in the body, found extensively in the skin, hair, nails, and bones, making it a primary component in bovine-sourced collagen supplements.
Product Information: The product description confirms that Organika Enhanced Collagen contains type 1 and type 3 collagen, supporting skin, nails, hair, joints, and gut health.
@brendammc yes, I looked at that up as well. AI results show it is third party tested for heavy metals and contaminants by GLP Labs. I like that it's available at Costco here.
There are some studies that show modest improvement from taking collagen. The study linked below was sponsored by the collagen manufacturer, Gelita, and showed BMD increased a total of 5% to 8% over four years of treatment. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8441532/
My search has not been fruitful in finding in the US companies that sell bioactive collagen peptides with FORTIBONE that includes the registered trade mark as used by the study. Can anyone share where to buy safely in the US? What companies produce this 5 gram a day powder that is not cost prohibited ($30/monthly). It seems there are horror stories about hip fractures, etc on some of these drugs so have been on HRT for about 9 months, doing strength training, and hope to find this suppliment before my next scan. I will report back after the scan.

@zelda7 https://regenos.com/
3 pack bundle for $69.99 (includes free shipping). That's a 90 day supply. I've been ordering from them for several years.
Hello:
thank you Melia 7 for link to Amazon.de
The supplier from that website will not ship to Canada.
My search for Fortibone Type 1 only continues..
This may not be the thread for it,
however,
I've seen a large amount of ads for Osteoboost wearable vibration belt.
It is made by
Bone Health Technologies (BHT), a company based in Redwood City, California.
It is a prescription only device, but they will help get you a referral.
this information is from their website:
"Step 2: Get a prescription from your doctor or through our telehealth partner
Download a form for your doctor or request a prescription online
through our telehealth partner, Beluga Health—
no appointment or video visit needed."
costs approx $1,000 to $1,500 U.S. https://www.osteoboost.com/products/osteoboost
It has acquired, in 2024, Wellen, that have exercise-based osteoporosis care,
which it says is personalized and science backed.
I've seen and enjoy some of Wellen exercizes on the web.
Many of the links on the web, say that this device is
FDA 'approved' - a step up from previous FDA 'cleared'
There is a difference in 'approved' vs 'cleared.
It is expensive, but if it helps osteopenia and osteoporosis,
I am very interested knowing more about it.
I have written to several of the
web sources, as well as Dr Wittstein,
and asked for a link to confirm this device is now FDA 'approved'
and
I would wait to see more clinical studies, without Osteoboost
personnel involved, before purchasing.
Has anyone on this forum bought and used one, and had
gains in spine, with or without other medication that you wish
to share with us.
I am open to rebuttals.
Good strength and good bones..

@costeo20250717
thanks for your reply.
I am looking for only Type 1 Fortibone,
not Type 1 included with Type 3.
Does 5K DA from Healthy Planet Store
have Type 1 only?
Bovine source, not marine.
I have looked up CanPrev, but only
saw mixed Type 1 and 3.
The advantage of Amazon in Canada, is
that they use their own delivery system
and do not rely on our postal service.
@debbie1956 and I see it is third party tested.

No rebuttal but don't miss checking out other threads under the heading Osteoporosis for many posts on the topic of vibration devices and bone health
