Has anyone else started a red dot with MAI meds?
After a month on meds, suffering from severe constipation and lack of sleep, I have now developed a red pinpoint body rash. (torso, legs and ankles too).
Anyone else experience that?

@yardsend it started like that. Now it’s worse and melted together.

1 Reaction@scoop just took Benadryl. My id dr had surgery yesterday. I have an appointment with someone else on Thursday morning.
@roslynroslyn There's also urgent care in case you don't want to wait. I'm in that camp but of course up to you!

1 Reaction@roslynroslyn ,
Have you gotten through to the ID yet? Do you have orher options, like FP, before it becomes an emergency? I'm worried for you.

1 Reaction@roslynroslyn Please don't wait if 50mg benadryl every 4 hours doesn't stop the spread, go to the ER. Worsening rash is sign of allergic reaction, which can rapidly get worse. By all means, no more antibiotics until you see the doc.

1 Reaction@sueinmn I have an appointment Thursday morning to verify if it’s the meds. I will NOT take any pill’s until this is made clear. My id just had surgery. Not working. The doc Thursday is a GP. If I need an ID I will go to clinic on Friday bright and early. The fever and rash aren’t common with these meds but are possibly an allergic reaction. I think it is that!
@yardsend Md on Thursday morning.
If situation isn’t resolved, ID early Friday am. No pills until it’s resolved.
@scoop that would be hospital emergency. Hugely long waits and lots of germs. I’m too scared to wait there. If it becomes an emergency, I will go. 🙏🏻
@roslynroslyn At the emergency department, the triage nurse will determine severity. Given what you've described it sounds serious, especially if it's vasculitis, as described above. You don't need anymore problems than you already have! Let someone at least take a look at you. You can always leave. ED's ebb and flow -- they are not always as busy as we remember. Wear a mask and something to read or do in case you have a small wait. Keep us posted! We are all worried for you!
