@oldelectrician
amazon. I got the “pure” brand for the hard to find 1 mg dose. I did that for a week, 2 capsules for a week, 3 for a week and then a shift to the 5 mg capsule. Also bought on Amazon.
@tallbackhip i follow this woman “NeuroGal” and this particular piece is on Lithium orotate. You may find interesting.

Thank you so much for your encouragement and sharing of what your findings. I was diagnosed as mild degree of MCI in 2023 and also having a family histroy of AD, Parkinson and Lowe Body dementia so I know anything which can help brain function I will benefit from. I am also staying at 5mg at this time. I will ask my neurologist next year to repeat the memory test. Thank you
I have eagerly read everything you all have been posting on the Lithium Orotate including all the research articles. It sounds like from the studies Lithium Orotate has been shown to help to hold those with Dementia/Alzh steady. My husband has Alzh and I search constantly for anything that will safely help to slow the progression of this horrible disease. I will be getting him some to start taking…what have we to lose…and what could we possibly gain! Please continue to post your personal findings. We are all in this fight together.

4 ReactionsExcellent interview of Dr.Bruce Yankner by Katie Couric on lithium- he said DON'T go out and buy OTC lithium rotate. There are dangers to kidneys and other organs from the sounds of it. Google him, and watch the interview before your start taking any form of lithium, especially high doses! Sounds very exciting though and should be human trials within a year at Mass Gen, he said!

1 ReactionBegan taking 5 mg of lithium orotate and/or lithium aspartate approximately 25 years ago after reading articles by Dr Jonathan Wright. I have never had any issues or side effects I'm aware of and approaching 81 years old. It works for me.

1 Reaction@theglobalnomad1 He is correct. From everything I have read and watched a high dosage will affect your renal system and possibly more.
.03 to 5 mg is the recommended low dosage and probably taking it every other day to start off.
