How about a laugh, (hopefully)

Posted by Jake @jakedduck1, Dec 31, 2018

I believe laughter is the best medicine. Laughter has actually been scientifically proven to help people with depression issues.
Let’s give it a try so we can all get happy and feel better. Many Epilepsy forums I’ve been on had joke sections. I was probably the biggest joke of all since I didn’t get a lot of the jokes. They said the jokes couldn’t be above 4th grade level for me to understand them so my jokes may be rather simplistic but let’s give it a try.
Have a lovely day everyone,
Jake

Just so my laugh friends know, I may be starting palliative care fairly soon. No sympathy or tears, please. I need laughter instead just as you do. Here's mine for today:

Never trust a train. They have loco motives.

Your turn.

You bring laughter and joy and perspective on dark days to many sick people. You've got good karma now.
Thank you so much!
(I'm sorry that I am not funny.)

I am a grateful, regular reader here. I don't post because I am not funny and I can never remember the jokes that I hear. However, this happened to me yesterday and my husband thought it was funny. I hope you find it funny, too.

Before a CT scan, I had to remove the metal barrettes from my hair. When the scan was over, the sweet, young technician said to me, "Oh, don't forget your barrettes. And there's a mirror right over there so you can re-do your hair."
I replied (nicely I hope), "Oh, thank you...And thank you for thinking I care"
[about how I look].
I am a very old-looking 65. My grooming goal stops at tidy, comfortable but not crazy. She was sweet.

Take care, everyone, and keep up the good jokes!

What’s the difference between a crow and a raven?
Scientifically, a raven has 17 primary wing feathers, the big ones at the end of the wing. They are called pinion feathers. A crow has 16. So, the difference between a crow and a raven is a matter of a pinion. 🙃
