There is no hope: Life feels impossible to me

Posted by ariza9110 @ariza9110, Jun 17 5:37am

so 4 years ago i lived in a moldy place and since then to this day i developed hypersenstivity to mold, where as a reaction to it i get brain fog, this condition is chronic, debilitating and constant, and the worst part is that medicine doesnt recognises it and there isnt enough reaserch about it so im litearlly doomed to suffer, i cant see myself living my whole life with this brain fog because of it, i also have other health conditions and baisically i suffer all day everyday but with this problem it is the worst because i know you cant get better, the only "treatments" out there i found where psuedoscientific quakeris about "detox" i better be dead at this point than keep living misrebaly with all my chronic illnesses (which this one is the worst since theres no treatment)

It seems that there are many of us in the same leaky boat. But if we support one another I bet we can get to a better place.

This may not be helpful but...I had mold remediation done a month ago, then I hired an air testing company who took air samples after the remediation - to confirm that there was no mold spores remaining in our home. It costs about $475, it takes about one hour in your home, then they sent the air samples to a state laboratory and the report is back within four days. It is a very complete diagnostic report (many pages) of exactly what is in the air in your home.
Perhaps your condition today is the result of where you are currently living. If possible, why not have that air tested to be sure it isn't magnifying your problem?

You sound frustrated and I feel your pain. Do you think looking into local support groups might help? I hope you find your inner peace and outer strength and I'm sending prayers your way

What you need is a good BANDAID solution until your resolution comes along... AND REMEMBER... many times the answer is found accidentally WHEN MEDICAL & RESEARCH ARE LOOKING FOR OTHER SOLUTIONS! So it's not hopeless cause about half the cures & treatments came about this way!

Faith, tenacity, inch by inch...turns into yard by yard.

Remember too...your body's immune system has been fighting this... so get a new blood panel to see if there's ANY CHANGES...

There is help. Where do you live?

I empathize with you, my spouse, a professor in the medical field has a similar condition. Much research has gone into finding a solution. My spouse has found that Lion mushroom extract, MCT oil and fish oil two to four times a day gives much relief to the "fog" enabling a return to confident teaching. Now please don't just start gobbling up all the oils you can find, I am just sharing our experience and pointing out a possible direction. Get serious, there is an answer to everyone's problems, they just have to be found.

Just got off phone with my doctor, CLL/SLL is returning again, remission started 6/22. Latest Pet scan shows returning lymph activity. At present it's not super serious but starting with Zanubruntinib after genetic blood test,
thank God not infusions this time around.

@kobe2026
Sounds like you will get some answers after the bloodwork on 9/30. I'm glad the side effects you're going through aren't bad so far. I hope you stay on this panel for ongoing support.
