@srodw thank you for your reply, my last injection was ultrasound guided but I only had pain relief for 3 months. It will be worth mentioning to my consultant about an MRI scan and ask about GL tears.
My main problem is I have bursitis in both hips and can only get cortisone injections into one hip at a time.

@trev09
Yes this was the first time cortisone injections didn’t work for me at all. Then I got both PRP injections done in both hips at the same time. Good luck!
@trev09 you don’t wear a referral to mayo pain clinic. They don’t treat the pain they say they’re treating your brain. They teach you to pretend to ignore the pain. You can’t talk about it. You cannot take any medication for it. They want you to go back to work whether you feel like it or not because tbey think all pain is mental and in your head. One lady went and she was on IV fluids. She had to hide her IV bag and when they found out she had it she was kicked out of the program because you’re not allowed to treat anything you’re supposed to just do it all by healing your brain. It’s a huge money grab at a joke. They try to send people that don’t even have pain.
I guess it depends on the medical person giving the cortisone injections. I had my last ones 3 months ago and she gave me a jab on both sides.
