Has anyone heard of either of the following clinics?

Has anyone heard of or been to
1. Kaplan Clinic in Virginia
2. Apheresis Clinic in Cyprus (the country of Cyprus)

I am really trying to find a Clinic to aide in my treatment. I have been dealing with Long Covid for over 5 years and am not able to walk without the assistance of a walker. I have tried an endless number of doctors and procedures here in the US and have seen no improvement.

Well, I have counted over 100 symptoms, as most long COVID sufferers have. But originally, in November 2020, it was at first just not getting well. Then the fast heart rate, lots of cardiac symptoms but no heart damage, pneumonia, total fatigue, brain fog, trouble processing, trouble reading, trouble walking, and on and on. I had lots of treatment that relieved some symptoms, like HBOT and infusions and hormone pellets, but never a cure. But just this May, I have begin to think I have my life back. I started the treatment with Dr. Jordan Vaughn from Birmingham last July, so I guess that’s about 10 months. I’m not sure how long I will remain on the medication and supplements, but I will continue to follow his treatment. That’s it in a nutshell. It’s a long journey.

Thank you for the reply. I have heard of him and his program, but haven't checked into it too closely. I am happy you are on the right track.

I did not have to travel to Alabama. Yes, I had micro clot testing done by Dr. Vaughn. A local medical lab drew my blood and sent it to Birmingham. It showed I had a 3 out of possible 4 score on micro clots. All my appointments have been via zoom. As you probably know, all bills are self pay. Right now my insurance does not cover any charges. However, my insurance does cover my prescriptions. It does not cover all the supplements. I’m almost well. It has worked for me. My life is almost back.

How do you order the microclot test from his lab?
It says go to website because they haven’t answered their phones or called me back for over a year now.!!!

Are you any better now?

I would say that my fatigue level is significantly lower, but my balance and dizziness hasn't changed much. This is after 6 years. I am not giving up though. What are your symptoms and what all have you tried?

A friend referred me to Dr. Vaughn’s clinic. I contacted his MedHelp 280 Long Covid Clinic online at medhelpclinics.com
Once at the site, click on Long Covid Clinic. There are 2 choices to message them, one for Permanent Alabama Residents and another for Out-Of-State Residents. As far as I know, they take initial requests for info thru these links only, then they contact you. Once you are a patient, communication is thru their patient portal.
They draw blood at the clinic for your microclot test and several other blood tests. I am an Alabama Resident, so they may handle testing differently if you are out of state.

Thank you for the information. I have heard of this facility, but never contacted them. I have been going to Cleveland Clinic and think I will stick with them while I am on a trial program, but had considered this Alabama facility in case I choose to switch. Are you going to get treated there? I would love to hear about anyone else's experience with this program. Thank you for sharing the info.
