Anyone taking Tyenne (tocilizumab-aazg) for rheumatoid arthritis?
I suffer from severe rheumatoid arthritis since 2017. My Dr wants me to try a biological medication called Tyenne injection is. There someone that has experienced this medication? Little nervous to try

@sparkswd, I moved your question about Tyenne (tocilizumab-aazg) for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) into its own discussion. I believe @mejob has experience with this medication.
Sparkswd, have you started the new treatment yet?

1 ReactionI've been taking Actemra, which is another form of tocilizumab, for almost a year. I take an injection every week for giant cell arteritis. I haven't had any side effects, and it has allowed me to taper prednisone from 60 mg per day down to 1. I was a little queasy at first about injecting myself, but I got used to it in a few weeks. It's pretty much foolproof with the auto-injector pens. I'm feeling better now than I have in several years. I expect to keep taking the injections for at least a couple more years.

What is the best thing you can get done while you’re sitting around?
@davidtile1 hi dear does Tyenne help you?
@jeff97 may i ask what are your symptoms?
My husband has scleroderma with swollen legs and contracted fingers. He's taking Tyenne too. What are your symptoms?

I had PMR for several months before developing GCA. The PMR was primarily stiffness in the shoulders, neck, and hips. For GCA, I had low grade fever, night sweats, pain the cheekbones, tenderness in my scalp around my ears and on top of my head, fatigue in my jaw muscles when I was chewing, and eventually an episode of temporary partial vision loss in one eye. I went to the emergency room for the loss of vision, and I was diagnosed with GCA and PMR. I started treatment then and it saved my vision. All of the other symptoms of PMR and GCA also cleared up once I started treatment.
