Considerations about a doublet versus triplet therapy
Here is some information I just read that discusses reasoning and side effects of doublet versus triplet therapy. The table at the bottom outline some of the major issues from different treatments.
I’ve never seen a breakdown like this that really discusses the issues with taking different advanced treatments

Thanks for sharing that. I think the key point is in the text before the table:
1. Doublet therapy for low-volume (oligometastatic) advanced prostate cancer
2. Triplet therapy for high-volume (polymetastatic) advanced prostate cancer.
It aligns well with what we've been discussing and referencing here in the forum for the last while. With the doublet therapy, you'd also have radiation treatment to the individual metastases and the prostate itself.

4 ReactionsI thought the table at the bottom with side effects was pretty interesting for people that are not familiar with the different treatment treatments.

2 ReactionsYes, this is clear and consise. The table is a nice reference to see all. The Docetaxel edema syrprised us as not everyone experiences it - will probably post about it in another thread.
Just fyi, my husband had no edema with docetaxel.
