I was awake alert. I was sensing that I was getting fatigued and tired. In both cases- there were 2- I immediately hydrated with water and got back in air conditioning. The symptoms resolved quickly. I have never lost awareness to my knowledge. My last eeg showed a breach rhythm which is not normal but is non epileptic. Also my TSH is very low. Which means currently I am hyperthroid. My dose of levothyroxine was reduced. I do think it is heat related. I was inside all day today till this evening. My husband walks our dogs till the late afternoon or evening. So I was outside again walking with no symptoms. Thank you for your reply. I will continue to monitor myself.
I was a many year smoker with epilepsy and it helped with mental aspects of it. I can suggest to replace smoking with mindful/focused breathing instead to help keep mental health up. I found that when I quit, the part that I missed was having that 10 min of me time and my Psychologist brought up that it does bring in focused breathing when smoking. By quitting I feel physically better and financially better and the cost savings alone is fantastic. There is the option to go to vape but the risks are unknown and I did that for a while as well but quit cold turkey. It's easier to manage if it's not on your plate.
Thank you for letting me know about this @jakedduck1
Have a nice weekend!

Hi @promise036
I recently came across an article from the Epilepsy Foundation regarding nicotine's effects on seizure threshold, which reminded me of your earlier discussion on this topic.
According to the Epilepsy Foundation, there's no evidence that nicotine, when used in normal amounts, affect seizure control for most people with epilepsy. However, they note that some individuals may be more susceptible to seizures when consuming a large quantity of it.
I want to emphasize that I'm sharing this purely for informational purposes and not as encouragement for smoking, which carries well-documented health risks.
I've included the link to the full article below in case you'd like to read more:

Dear @promise036
I’m 69 years young, but I started a 13 of smoking cigs. When I was 33 yo, I went to our church, They blessed Christ and prayed of other brothers & sister help me. One week later, my smoking was gone; no taste; no feeling; no smelling… my smoking was gone. Over the last 37+ no more smoking
